Stay in Class: Family and Dog Friendly

tay in class at this historic charmer that is family and dog friendly in beautiful Brown County. This one-room schoolhouse has stood proudly amid butterfly gardens and wooded grounds for more than a century. Here you can relax and unwind as you roast marshmallows by the fire or take a soak in the hot tub under the stars.

Recently renovated as a chic two-bedroom getaway, the Schoolhouse still retains its history. The 1891 school bell hangs in the belfry and the heart pine flooring has been preserved. The Inn tastefully blends antique furnishings with luxurious touches and modern conveniences that update the experience.

The great room, beautifully decorated for each season, displays a wall of original wavy glass overlooking the back deck and woods as far as the eye can see. Here you can enjoy the big screen smart TV (firestick provided just bring your passwords) and curl up on the comfy leather couch while enjoying a good book and a glass of wine. The pot-bellied stove has been replaced by a gas log fireplace for rainy days and cold evenings.
