If you’re looking for the classic Indiana backcountry singletrack trail, look no further than Nebo Ridge! Your ride will be scenic, secluded, and peppered with juicy technical challenges. Featuring long climbs and some gratifying downhill sections, Nebo Ridge is the experienced rider’s first choice when visiting Hoosier National Forest.
Reaching this trail is more difficult than following it. Take IN 135 south 9 miles to Story. At the Story Inn, take Elkinsville Road West approximately three miles to find the gravel parking lot for the trailhead on your left. Signs for Elkinsville Road are very small, but you can’t miss the Story Inn. You can park at the Story Inn and ride three miles of gravel to the trailhead for a warmup, because you won’t get much of one starting from the northern trailhead.
