Nebo Ridge Trail – A Wild Ride in the Forest!
This trail is in the Hoosier National Forest and is 8.6 miles long one way (17 miles if you go there and back). You can hike, ride a horse, or mountain bike here.
The trail goes up and down like a rollercoaster and has awesome views from the top of the ridges. It’s quiet, beautiful, and full of fun challenges—perfect for experienced riders who like a good adventure!
Getting there:
It’s a little tricky to find!
- Drive south on IN 135 for 9 miles to a place called Story.
- At the Story Inn, turn onto Elkinsville Road and go about 3 miles.
- Look for a gravel parking lot on the left—that’s the trailhead!
Tip: You can also park at the Story Inn and ride your bike 3 miles on gravel to warm up before hitting the trail.
