Artist is In – Guild Artist Demonstration Series – August 9 & 10, 2025

A favorite every year, select Guild artists will demonstrate their techniques and creative process in the gallery, offering visitors a chance to watch art being made firsthand.  Each artist will present a different medium, providing a unique glimpse into the range of possibilities using various artistic methods and materials. 

Jeff Hagen 

Watercolor Fusion   

On Saturday, August 9th, get to know Jeff and his creative fusion process.  Jeff is the ultimate storyteller using his subject matter to convey a message.  Watch him break the boundaries of what is possible with watercolor and special papers to emphasize the layers underneath. 

Rick Wilson 

Oil 

On Sunday, August 10th, Rick Wilson joins us. He masterfully paints impressionistic landscapes in the same representational style as the Art Colony artists of the early 20th century.  His tonal approach and hues of color are soothing and remind one of the days gone by. 

Brown County Art Guild – A not for profit organization located in the heart of downtown Nashville, Indiana.  On display throughout its galleries is a prized collection of historic paintings as well as current works for sale from regional award-winning member artists.  Also offered throughout the year are artist demonstrations, workshops, and special exhibits.   

Gallery hours March through December 2025, Monday – Saturday, 11 – 5 and Sunday, 12 – 4 or by appointment.
