The Autumn of Brahms
You are in for a musical treat. Join world-renown clarinetist James Campbell and pianist
Futaba Niekawa, both ChamberFest Brown County mainstays, for an evening of
Brahms, Vaughan Williams, Bartók, and more, on Saturday, December 7, 7pm, at the
Nashville. United Methodist Church.
Because of the parade happening that evening in downtown Nashville:
–If you’re traveling from Bloomington or the western part of Brown County please travel on SR 45 to Helmsburg and turn onto Helmsburg Road to come into Nashville. Once in town, turn right on Johnson Street; look for parking in the area or proceed to the large public parking lot off Washington Street.
–If you’re coming from the east on SR 46, turn right at the road before The Seasons and then left on Main Street by Hard Truth. You will then be directed by traffic cops to turn right on Artists Drive. Go north on Artists Drive to the end i.e. the intersection with SR 135. Turn left and you will be directed by traffic cops down the Jefferson Street Y. You can then make a right on Mound Street, followed by a left on Johnson Street. After you cross Main Street look for parking in the area or proceed to the large public parking lot off Washington Street.
–If you are coming from the north on SR 135 go down the Jefferson Street Y near the Presbyterian Church as directed by the traffic cops. Make a right at Mound Street and then a left onto Johnson Street. After you cross Main Street look for parking in the area or proceed to the large public parking lot off Washington Street.
