A one stop shop for everything you may want or need, the Brown County Inn has got it all! From newly remodeled rooms and beautiful walkable gardens to a pool, outdoor activities, and full service restaurant, the Brown County Inn is more than just an lodging property…it’s a “resort of a sort.”

Coined by one of the owners, this fun phrase perfectly sums up all that the Brown County Inn has to offer. With tons of great amenities and added bonus features that you can only find at the BCI, no wonder its website calls it the “best place to stay in Brown County.”

A Nashville mainstay since 1974, the BCI (that’s Brown County Inn for short) has a long-lived legacy that keeps visitors coming back for more. Under new ownership since 2015, the beloved Brown County Inn has undergone a major renovation that in fact, is still in the works!
The transformation has not only included a facelift to the outside of the property, but a make-over and major improvement to nearly every aspect of the facility as well.

Located on the edge of town, you can’t miss the Brown County Inn. Its new rust-colored façade reflects the area’s famed fall foliage, giving the Inn a bold look that is fresh, while still maintaining Brown County’s rustic charm.

Sitting just outside the Village of Nashville, the Brown County Inn is within close proximity to all the downtown action yet still far enough away for some nature and seclusion. With the Salt Creek Trail and the rolling Brown County hills in its back yard and downtown Nashville just around the corner, you get the best of both worlds at the Brown County Inn.  Plus, the beautiful Brown County State Park is only a couple of minutes away!

“If you want everything that Brown County has to offer, you should stay here,” according to owner Courtney Gosser. “The two biggest draws in Brown County are the shops in town and the State Park. And here at the Brown County Inn, you are equally close to both.”

At the Brown County Inn, you can truly make your getaway into exactly what you want it to be. Combine its ideal location with endless conveniences and the BCI is a complete resort package that’s hard to beat.

“We’ve got tons on site,” explained Courtney. “We’ve got walkable gardens, outdoor activities, we offer three meals a day—pretty much everything you could want under one roof.”

“It’s a great staycation if you will,” she said. “You could never leave the property or you could walk to town, come back, and relax, making it a great place for anyone to stay—couples, groups, wedding parties, or the whole family.”

It’s easy to unwind and enjoy the company you’re with at the Brown County Inn. Its newly renovated guest rooms are filled with the soothing colors of nature, bringing a Brown County twist to modern country décor. Inside the rooms, you’ll find new furniture, carpet, paint, beds, bedding, and curtains, as well as updated TVs and Internet capabilities. BCI’s various rooms feature different amenities, such as mini fridges, full kitchenettes, seating areas, and courtyard or drive side views. You’ll even have your own private porch or balcony no matter what room you stay in!
Aside from its spacious and refreshing rooms, the Brown County Inn also has a full restaurant and bar inside.

The Harvest Dining Room serves up delicious, fresh meals that are sure to make your mouth water. Its breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner menus are filled with the perfect combination of Brown County home-style favorites and healthier items masterfully created with less additives and preservatives. From classics like steak and eggs and the pork tenderloin sandwich to more distinctive dishes like blackened red snapper and peach and bourbon pork chops, there’s something for all taste buds at the Brown County Inn. They even have a soup and salad bar, as well as offer seasonal weekend breakfast buffets and special holiday menus too! An updated menu went hand-in-hand with the dining room remodel, but it doesn’t stop there. The owners have big plans to keep changing up their menus, switching out a couple of dishes each season and adding more creative flair.

Of course, you can’t forget about the Corn Crib Lounge either! That’s right, the Brown County Inn even has its very own bar, where you’ll not only find your beloved beverage of choice, but also live music on Friday and Saturday nights! There’s the occasional Sunday Bluegrass Brunch too!

Step outside and fun awaits at BCI. Sitting on roughly ten acres of land, the grounds at Brown County Inn are chock full of adventure and beauty.  In addition to an indoor/outdoor pool that’s open year round, there is an area for miniature golf and breathtaking walkable gardens. The most daunting project created from scratch by the new owners, the walkable gardens feature a plethora of raised beds filled with flowers and home-grown produce and a one-of-a-kind handcrafted fence complete with twinkle light artwork.

Whether you choose to relax by the pool, take a stroll through the garden, play a riveting game of putt putt, or hit the nearby Salt Creek Trail, it’s easy to enjoy Brown County’s outdoor scenery at the BCI.

Brown County Inn’s glorious outdoor space also is set up for weddings and events. Two large tents remain up three seasons of the year, creating a sublime spot for a get together or celebration. Imagine getting hitched in a magical garden or overlooking a flowing Brown County stream…it’s a reality at the Brown County Inn.

BCI offers both indoor and outdoor conference and banquet facilities, perfect for a wedding ceremony or reception, as well as a corporate event or even a family reunion. Whatever you dream up, the team at the Brown County Inn will work with you to make it happen!

As if all that wasn’t enough, the Brown County Inn has recently added on site yoga classes and bike rental to its long repertoire of offerings.

“We encourage everyone to come stay at the Brown County Inn,” said Courtney. “It truly is a unique space. Between its prime location, proximity to town, and resort-like feel, it’s a great place to vacation.”

And the work being done to the Brown County Inn isn’t done yet either! “We’re just a regular family trying to make it work,” explained Courtney. “We took on this epic project and it’s been great so far. There are still more improvements to come as we just keep trying to make the Brown County Inn the best it can be!”
