The historic Doc Tilton House is pleased to join Nashville’s overnight offerings to guests. Located in the heart of the historic Nashville walking district, this home is located directly next to the Village Green Park off Main Street on 23 North Jefferson Street. Built in 1880, it is truly an experiential stay, providing a touch with the past with modern comforts for its guests.
Offering a dedicated upstairs guest suite, it includes two bedrooms with one queen sized bed per room, a shared hallway bath and game parlor room for relaxation time. The game room parlor includes TV, Wi-Fi, a full sized sofa, a dining table, game tables and games, a small kitchenette that includes a mini fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, a water cooler and paper/plasticware. A single cot can be added upon request.
The guest suite décor is ‘shabby chic antique’ creating a cozy, comfortable setting amongst the vintage/antique furnishings. The AirBnB is also pet friendly, allowing up to two dogs, for an additional fee. The large back yard is great for both pets and people to enjoy some outdoor time together. The historic Doc Tilton House is non-smoking, but responsible guests are permitted to smoke in the lawn area. In addition to the large back lawn, complete with a fire pit, are also two porches where the guests are welcome to use and relax. The large side porch faces the Village Green and is a great place to start or finish the day, and includes a porch swing, a bistro table and wicker chair.
The historic Doc Tilton House welcomes ALL guests. It is ideal for two couples or friends traveling together, who wish to spend time together but with their own private sleeping quarters. It is also ideal for a family since the guest suite includes the entire upstairs unit to share together. The guests must be able to climb stairs for this unit. It is about 15 steps up to the guest suite. The Doc Tilton House can be booked through Air BnB and has a two night minimum. This is not a party house but intended for folks who appreciate history and a quaint cozy setting. Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 9 am.
Walk-ins may come to the Doc Tilton Curio Shop in the house between 12 pm – 5 pm for possible same day availability options.
