June/July Industry Update!

We wanted to share a quick update on what our marketing team has been up to this month—and why you may have noticed us reaching out for promotional materials a bit more than usual!

Our goal is to consistently shine a spotlight on Brown County, and this summer, we’ve been hard at work increasing our visibility in key nearby markets through strategic campaigns, influencer partnerships, and event sponsorships.

Major Promotions & Event Partnerships

  • Taste of Indy & Do317 Campaigns

    • $9,000 sponsorship discount in collaboration with Hard Truth at Taste of Indy

    • @ILoveBrownCounty featured as the event’s opening door prize giveaway!

    • Do317 sweepstakes launching June 23-July 7 as a teaser for our upcoming Christmas in July campaign

    • Broad exposure through Taste of Indy’s and Do317’s email list and social media

Influencer Activations in Progress

  • Foodie creators attending Bourbon & BBQ on July 27

  • Family- and arts-focused influencers highlighting key attractions

  • Chicago-based content creator covering ChamberFest (Aug 15–17)

  • IndyChild editor working on a “Mom’s Trip to Brown County” story

Sneak Peek: Christmas in July is Coming!

We’re bringing a little holiday cheer to the summer heat with Christmas in July, a fun promotional push designed to boost summer visits and keep Brown County top of mind for fall and holiday travel.

Here’s what we’re up to:

  • 12 Days of Giveaways launching mid-July, featuring prizes from local businesses

  • A dedicated campaign with Do317 to reach holiday-minded consumers early

  • Influencer coverage and social teasers to drive engagement and visibility

  • A focus on growing our email list and promoting your deals, shops, and experiences
