Rum on the Rocks
Dress in your island best and join the Hard Truth crew for Rum on the Rocks, our annual summer festival packed with tropical treats, live music, and beachy bliss.
Gates to the Hard Truth on the Rocks terrace will open at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1, welcoming guests to our landlocked island escape.
Mai tais and mojitos, frozen piña coladas and daiquiris, and more festive cocktails will bring tropical flair to the terrace bar alongside special, themed food items like coconut shrimp and island barbecue chicken walking tacos.
A whole suckling pig will be roasting on the barbecue while Rich Hardesty and the Swing Rays take the stage through the course of the evening. Guest vendors will be offering airbrush body painting, henna tattoos, and Kona Ice island-style shaved ice.
And, of course, we haven’t forgotten the limbo contest. At 6:30 p.m., guests can vie for glory and prizes in this test of flexibility, balance, and showmanship.
Tickets for guests aged 13+ are $15 and include event access, sunglasses, a lei, and a sample of the whole suckling pig barbecue. Tickets for guests 12 and younger are $5 and include event access, a lei, and a sample of the whole suckling pig barbecue.
