Pioneer Women Annual Open House
Admission is free and donations are welcome — every dollar collected supports the Brown County History Center. Enjoy light refreshments including punch and cookies while you explore a variety of handmade crafts for sale: fabrics, books, patterns, handcrafted gifts, crafting supplies, and more.
A special highlight of the day: the drawing for the Brown County Fall Splendor Quilt will take place at 4:00 PM. Tickets may be purchased up until 3:55 PM. Tickets are 1 for $1 or 6 for $5.
We will also be revealing the 2027 raffle quilt for the very first time at this event.

Throughout the open house, Pioneer Women will be demonstrating traditional skills such as weaving, knitting, machine and hand‑sewn quilting, jewelry making, appliqué, button crafts, and other heritage techniques. Several members will also have individual booths featuring their own handcrafted items.
