Brown County Lions Club Independence Day Fireworks Display
The Brown County Lions Club announced America’s best Small Town Fireworks is moving locations in 2026. The show has traditionally been held over the Brown County High School football field, but is moving to its new home at Eagle Park, just west of the north entrance to Brown County State Park. This year’s show is set for Thursday, July 2, 2026. Mapping apps will recognize “Eagle Park Nashville Indiana.”
For more than 50 years, the Brown County Lions Club has proudly presented this annual Independence Day tradition, honoring the nation with a spectacular fireworks show that has become a highlight of summer in Brown County.
The fireworks will begin at dark and there will be plenty of parking available at Eagle Park. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets.
Adding to the community spirit of the evening, Scouts from Troop 190 will be on site selling food and glow bracelets, with proceeds helping scouts earn money for summer camp.
The Independence Day fireworks are made possible entirely through the generosity of the community. The show is funded by donations from local small businesses and contributions collected by The Bucket Brigade, Lions Club members who circulate through the crowd before the show.
