Annual Patron & Young Artist Exhibition 2026 

Brown County Art Guild  

Call for Entries: January 9-11 & 16-18, 2026 

Exhibition Dates:   January 23– February 14, 2026 

Judges: Guild Artists, Mark Burkett & Jeanne McLeish 

Prizes will be awarded in both divisions 

Submissions: 

Framed and ready to hang 2-D work in any medium. Excludes fine art photography, digital & 3D. 

Requirements: 

Artwork cannot have been previously shown at the Guild.  All artwork must remain on display and be available for sale for the entire show.  A 40% Patron contribution to the Guild for any work sold. Young Artists can sell their art consignment free or mark their work NFS.  The Guild can refuse artwork to be considered inappropriate. A 2-5MB .jpeg file must accompany each entry and emailed to admin@bcartguild.org – Image file must include name of artist, title, size, med & price.  Please reference the “2026 Patron & Young Artist Exhibition” in the subject line.   

Divisions: 

Patron – 19 years of age and older – enter up to two submissions.  $40 for the first submission, includes one year membership.  Discounted fee of $20 for optional second submission.    

Young Artist – 18 years of age and younger – free submission, up to 2 framed pieces.

Friday & Saturday 11:00a – 5:00p or Sunday 12:00p – 4:00p  

Awards and artist reception: Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 2:00p – 4:00p, awards presented at 3:00p

Brown County Art Guild – A not for profit organization located in the heart of downtown Nashville, Indiana.  On display throughout its galleries is a prized collection of historic paintings as well as current works for sale from regional award-winning member artists.  The Guild also offers artist demonstrations, workshops, and a variety of events or programs throughout the year.   

Winter Hours – January & February 2025, Monday-Wednesday by appt.~ Thursday-Saturday, 11am-5pm ~ Sunday, 12-4pm  

March – December 2025, Monday – Saturday 11am-5pm & Sundays 12-4pm
