Meet Dixie Ferrer – An Artist Who Loves Nature!

Dixie Ferrer is an artist who really loves nature. She makes beautiful art using lots of different things like paint, drawings, photos, and special papers. Her art shows the feeling of life and nature all around us.

Her art studio is in Brown County, Indiana. It’s close to the woods, lakes, and parks—just 8 miles from Nashville and 10 miles from Bloomington. Dixie is also a fun and friendly teacher who helps her students do their best!

What Are Her Art Classes Like?

Dixie’s art classes are small and cozy. They happen in her cute studio near the woods. It’s a great thing to do with your family or friends if you’re visiting Brown County.

In her class, you’ll get to be creative and try fun art techniques. You can walk in the woods or relax on the porch to get inspired. At the end, you’ll make your own special collage to take home!

Dixie can plan a fun art time for up to 7 people. The class can be as short or as long as you want. Get ready to splash, spray, and laugh while making art!

One of her favorite classes lasts two days, with 4 hours each day. On the first day, she even brings lunch! You’ll have lots of time to explore, share, and finish your awesome art project.
