About Derek
A Brown County resident for more than 20 years, Derek brings extensive wedding and hospitality experience to Brown County Ceremonies. For 13 years, he operated Rawhide Ranch USA, where he helped facilitate numerous weddings and celebrations ranging from intimate gatherings of 15 to events with more than 200 guests. His experience included serving as a venue host, caterer, and coordinator, giving him a firsthand understanding of the many details that come together to make a wedding day successful.
After officiating a family member’s wedding, Derek discovered how rewarding it was to take a more personal role in the ceremony itself. A few ceremonies for family and friends later, Brown County Ceremonies was born.
Today, Derek combines his local knowledge, years of wedding experience, and relaxed approach to create meaningful ceremonies that reflect each couple and their story.
