Join the Brown County Community Foundation in honoring our veterans during America’s 250th Anniversary Year.
This free, open to the public event will include a historical presentation of three Revolutionary War veterans who are buried in Brown County, unique resources for veterans in our community, and moments of recognition and honor for those who have served our county. Refreshments will be provided.

All donations made to the Foundation before November 1st can be in honor of a veteran, living or deceased. The donor’s name and the name of the honored veteran will be included in the November 11th publication of the Brown County Democrat. Additionally, for every $100 donated, a United States 250th Anniversary Betsy Ross handheld flag will be given to a veteran. You can pick up the flag(s) at the BCCF office to present to a veteran yourself, or it will be given to a veteran at the Flags for Veterans event.
