DESCRIPTION:The Friends of Brown County State Park is a not for profit organization that fundraises for park infrastructure, plans events, and organizes volunteer work. Come learn how you can be involved with Brown County State Park!\nThe meeting begins at 6:30pm at the Brown County State Park Nature Center. Meetings are the first Wednesday of every month.\nThe Friends help with the Wildflower Foray, Rockfest, Snakefest, Halloween, and other events! Completed projects include the Friends Trail, the Friends’ Picnic Shelter near the Nature Center, the restored Peach Tree Shelter, the pickel ball courts, the flower gardens around the park, and many other projects!\nGet involved now to help with the restoration of the Fire Tower.
